Today,I'll be showing you how I make book covers at wattpad!
I'm not a pro at editing,but I love to edit.Now I'll teach you how I make covers,if you're interested,please read on!
we will be using :
Photoshop CS6
Any Photoshop version is fine,I think. We won't be really using any filters,but it's your choice if you want to make your photo a bit attractive.
Today,I'll be making the book cover for my Oneshot story,Envy and Lust.
1. Choose a photo for your book.
The photo needs to be related to the story,it can be the characters,or an object that made the two close.Depends on your genre.
Once you put in on photoshop,I recommend the size 256x400 since it's the original size of wattpad cover books.And once it's on that size,there won't be any part missing.
So my story is about a mash up of Duke Venomania and Tailor Shop at Enbizaka,well.I really can't find any photos.If you can't find the EXACT photo your looking for,just use something that's close to it.Don't put too much pressure for your self.
and remember : Don't claim the photo as yours.Give credit to who really drew it.

Isn't really duke venomania and the tailor,but hey! It's close enough since it's my characters for the story,Gakupo and Luka.
2.Edit it by the way you like.
This is depending on the genre,on what's going on in the story.Since mine's about something about murder,lol what,Maybe I'll put on some blood.Blood works great on gore/horror stories too.

Lol,I found a blood heart and I thought it'd be great.
And here's another thing : Once it's color isn't that realistic,make it realistic!
Like that heart,it isn't really blood red,let's make it blood red!

And of course,change the opacity.You don't want the blood to be seen all by itself!
And now,play with the effects.But I recommend you to do this to the main photo :
This was supposed to be titled ' ERROR : Dissaperance ' like my oneshot about Galaco,( still didn't read? Feel free to! :) ) but I was like ' NAH ' so here's a Oneshot about...lab.( love -w- )

Okay,okay.You might call me a weirdo.But no.Seriously,I like Al.He's English is just...awesome.He speaks it so fluently unlike other Vocaloids in my opinion.So yeah,I like Al :3
3rd - Gakupo
Someone's gonna kill me,I have 3 boys in a row even though I'm a girl ;_;
I like him cuz...He's voice is just....HOT! ( insert fangirl scream here )
I mean,it's just...( speaks for hours. )
2nd - Kaito
Okay I got 'em four in a row >_>
I like Kaito since I think he's Adorable too,not hot.LOL.I think he looks pretty innocent,and he's ice cream loving attitude makes me love him even more.I also like his scarf,makes him cuter. WHY CAN'T I HAVE A SCARF LIKE AYANO AND KAITO HERE UMM HELLO!?!??!?
1st - Luka
HAHA.You thought it'll be a boy again,huh? Nope.I like Luka since she's the first bilingual Vocaloid <3 I love her voice so much! It calms me sometimes.Well Len's voice calms me too but..idk.She's one of the first Vocaloids I met,and she's really pretty! Right? I Have a huge poster of her in my room carrying a guitar <3 Hehe.I also have a nendroid and stuff toy <3

I think this song is BEAUTIFUL! It's a song about whenever you feel lonely or whatever,you shouldn't.Since you always have a friend inside you,and it'll never leave you.See? It's a PRETTY SONG ASGFGHSLG! It's just...pretty <3
4th - Hocus Pocus - Gumi|Miku ( ShikemokuP )
ANOTHER BOOTIFUL SONG!
In my thoughts,I think this song is about a little girl ( Miku ) who does not know happiness.And then one day another lady ( Gumi ) comes and saw her,and pitied her.And then she abducted/kidnapped the little girl.She already knew she'll get arrested for it,but what matters to her that the little girl can finally feel happiness.The day she got arrested,Miku was wondering why was she still happy and calm as her hands were on handcuffs.
Now I don't know how to explain it further,but it's still a pretty beautiful song.
3rd - Music Box Of Time - Luka ( UmbrellaP )
Another wonderful song.It's a song about this music box that once you play it,it'll never stop.But it shows you happy memories and lets you wander on them forever.The only cache is,you'll never wake up again.
I liked Luka and Gakupo's duet of it,but I love the original too. <3
2nd - Interviewer - Luka ( KuwagataP )
Now this is a pretty love song *u*
It's a song about a girl and a boy,the girl asks him different questions as if she was an interviewer interviewing him.She asks questions like " what kind of food do you eat? " and such.As she asks the question " Who's that person that holds your heart? " She adds, " I mean,yeah it's fine,if that person isn't me. "
She loves him,but if he loves someone else.It's fine.
1st - Boys Don't Cry - Luka / Gakupo ( I prefer his version for some reason ) ( fatmanP )
Okay,I love this song to death.
I preferred Gakupo's version since he's a boy,and it's a boys POV.
The song's about a guy who wants to tell someone he loves her,but he can't.He's been trying for years and notices the changes of the girl.And also the dramas from the TV he noticed,he wanted to be like the main character.Courageous,not a coward.And he asks the girl if she feels the same way.He wants to confess so bad,but he can't.Because Boys Don't Cry.
Along with a beautiful song and a beautiful meaning,also a beautiful title.It makes it a wonderfully beautiful and a sad song too.
